Alex Polakowski, the drummer from one of my favorite UK bands, NITKOWSKI, has compiled a whole heap of tape recordings from when he and his brother recorded together when they were younger. The albums contain lots of lo-fi jams, mainly guitar and drums but with vocals and keyboards dropped in the mix too. There is a lot of free music on offer here! Whilst listening it reminded me of Sebadoh, Mogwai, Daniel Johnston, to name a few and also of my early projects with friends in bedrooms and garages across the UK.
